In memory of a beloved pet

Pet Memorial Keepsakes — remembering a companion

For the companions who were family too. A soft keepsake made from a pet’s blanket or bedding, to hold onto the love they left behind.

[CONFIRM: add photos]
Items needed
A single blanket or piece of bedding is often enough — tell me what you have and I’ll advise.
Fabrics
A pet’s blanket, bedding or a favourite soft toy can often be used.

The companions who curled up beside us, met us at the door and never once let us feel alone — they were family too. When they’re gone, the grief is real, and the blanket they slept on or the toy they carried everywhere can feel impossible to part with.

I make gentle keepsakes in their memory, sewn from the soft things that were theirs. Something to hold onto, that still carries a little of them.

What can you make a pet keepsake from?

Most often a blanket, a piece of bedding or a much-loved soft toy. Sometimes a collar or a small tag can be included too, so a familiar detail stays close. Send me a photo of what you have and I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible.

What kind of keepsake can I choose?

[CONFIRM] Many people choose a small cushion or a soft keepsake to hold. If there’s something particular you have in mind, tell me about your companion and we’ll find a gentle way to remember them together.

Is it strange to want this?

Not in the slightest. Pets leave a love behind that deserves to be honoured. Wanting to keep a piece of them close is the most natural thing, and I’ll look after their things as carefully as I would my own.

Sending or dropping off your items

You can drop your items off with me in Newcastle, or post them from anywhere in the UK. Either way, your companion’s things are in caring hands.

Start your keepsake

Tell me what you have in mind and any date you’re working towards. There’s no pressure — just a gentle first conversation.
